SLAFC members! there's a new b-side out for July... 'Uncomfortable Things' is ready for download in your account. i've always loved this quirky little ditty. and it's a DON session...so this would have been on DON? maybe? what do you think? Smile

Hee hee... Char said "penis"... Smile

Okay, some day I'll grow up... but not yet! Razz

It sounds like a demo, not really a potential track, to me. But it's still a wickedly cool track. I will say that it sounds like a well-rehearsed track, though. Definitely not an early rendition.

Lyrics already available, though this would be an easy one to transcribe.

I remember hearing this as a live recording on the net and it was so funny - i think it loses a bit of charm by being recorded. Still, I'm glad there is a b-side version for fans...

(I'm still waiting on the edge of my seat for "Warrior" - if not as a b-side, then I'm hoping it will be on the next album!)

I am pleasantly surprised that the fifth b-side for DON is Uncomfortable Things. I was not expecting it... a blast from the past. I'm glad she finally released a studio version of it! What I like most about it is she sounds like she's having fun playing it. It has an energy to it... an energy I feel was missing from the studio version of Sluts and Bitches.

So far, this along with Where Do We Go From Here, are, in my opinion, the only real viable "b-sides" released so far. The other three sound like they'd be more appropriately titled "works in progress." Not that they're not good. Mrs. Blue in particular is very beautiful, but I don't feel like it was fully realized. Nor were the other two. And I always have to put my headphones on and turn the volume all the way up to enjoy the other three fully... the production value is just not as good as Go From Here and Things.

Weren't these supposed to be demos and works-in-progress?

You may have a point there. In my head I was remembering the fan club package saying "10 b-sides" but it may have said demos & works-in-progress as well.

I have to say... aside from where do we go from here, im not super in love with the B-sides so far. I really hope we get a couple good ones out of the 10. Though regardless it is exciting to get something new each month Smile

Wonder if we're getting close to the August release? Since the month is over half over...

You know that little bird? He tends to *chirp* at bit much and his wings are pointing to "yes, soon". Wink
