hi all! no Internet at the hotel but thank goodness for iPhone!
charlotte at jammin java...amazing show. such a powerhouse performance. great crowd just so responsive. and she pulled out some amazing versions of favorites. will write more and post pics and video when I have a proper connection. here is the setlist:
the Dance
veins
limits of our love-all is full of love-(into the night outdo)
edge of the world - galaxies
madman
ready for a flight (new song! awesome!)
distict sleeps tonight - outerspace
stromata
keep me in your pocket (with great crowd clapping and jam!)
the stalker song
one girl army
the last song
tremble (love this)
something like a hero
encore: wild horses ("susan Boyle, this is for you." haha. oh char mar. amazing version)
the crowd was alive. char was charged. it was symbiotic! so great to see Randy and his wife their. so many familiar faces. this tour has been incredible. only show 2. I'm excited. I love being at these shows. just surrounded by people who get it.
been some important shows for me and my tour buddy Tim. will post pics when I load and have Internet connection! there's video there's photos. there may even be a recording!
tomorrow Easton. and char says it will be some amazing randomness. cannot wait!! more to come. _________________ ...jules...

The show was fantastic...we have some video that will be posted later, and some pics from the Phiily show as well.
Thanks Jules! Great seeing you and Tim there as well as meeting Cliff and a few others who were very nice. Lisa was her usual busy bee self, buzzing around the venue keeping things in order and taking some precious time to chat.
Ha, ha..Cristina...yes, very happy. And she nailed it. Very sweet of Charlotte, Ken and Lisa for taking the time and planning to work that into the set-list in such a neat way. And, Heidi is a very happy camper as well, as Char did Wild Horses, which is her fav! Thanks!!!
A young lady was able to get the set-list...here is a pic. Thought some might get a kick...

Great setlist!
I've got a question for you long time fans...
I assume she is restricted to short setlists because of the venues she plays but, has she ever had the opportunity to play long FATTY sets? |

hahaha no worries...it was not your direction f-up that made my feet hurt..it was the shoes...the shoes I had to wear because the pair that I brought to wear got chewed up by my parents dog. |

i think these are slightly longer sets in comparison to some past tours/shows ... she's said in the past she doesn't play super long sets so she has more meet and greet time after the show.
i do wish she would play longer shows though. or play somewhere other than the hotel cafe in LA where she IS restricted to an hour. but, i know that what she does play + the meet and greet is a lot to take on as it is. _________________ i got a really good heart, i just can't catch a break

Ahhh yes, I see, time for the meet & greets. It is nice that she does that. Maybe if she did them before the shows she would have more time? But I'm sure she takes that into consideration. |

the set length is what is expected. her average set would probably be about 12 songs so these are a tad bit longer. on occasion you'll get a longer show in NYC or when she does a show like the knitting factory one in la a few years back. _________________ My Recordings Page: www.crazy-easy.net |

That would be me. (and much thanks for calling me "young" - you made my day!)
Great show last night. I'm so glad the crowd was obviously into it - I think we were all having fun. Char was in great voice (post-nasal drip, sinus infections and all). She nailed the big vocal songs- Dance, Veins, Madman, Hero, Horses.
No tears during the set, but one snort. I got a couple of good photos, and I'll post as soon as I get them uploaded onto my computer.
It was great getting to meet so many people in the M&G lines after the shows, both last night and in Philly. I love CharMar fans.
Still riding the concert high. One more show to go!
COME TO EASTON TONIGHT, EVERYONE!!! _________________ 'how did it go so fast?' we'll say as we are looking back.

Hey thanks! I am uploading "Tremble" played in Vienna now, so check for that later if you want to see.
A bit of trivia...Lisa told me that this Vienna show was the very first time Charlotte has performed an entire show directly facing the audience. Gosh, I hope I got that right..lol. So many shows and so much to try and remember!
Cheers! |

yay! thanks for the videos...what a great show. in retrospect? it may be my favorite from this tour. if i was tied up and threatened with fire and had to choose.
the energy of the crowd was crazy. whooping it up! char was way into it to the point of giddyness...the clapping during 'pocket' was insanely amazing. the audience actually did not stop clapping on beat....and that mad char just go go go! love me some good pocket jam!
anyway, some photos...video and more to come...working on it!
during 'the dance'....
...char does her own percussions. the audience freaked on this song.
probably during 'the stalker song' lol
keep on posting...video, photos, any audio. more to come. love this. trying to fight off post tour depression any way possible. xx _________________ ...jules...
