Yeah, I combined two font styles. It looks cool, but I'm not so sure about the whole lonely road thing, it's been down a million times, you know?

True, true. Would you like to share an excerpt or two? Maybe we can help with visuals...

how about a dirt road that winds a little... with maybe a puddle or two, with a bird drinking the water and a snake getting ready to strike the bird, and a roadrunner crossing the dirt road...

just giving more ideas...

by the way lisa loves dirt... earth dirt that is...

Some slight adjustments. My first book was called The Road Between Here And There, so calling a new one The Road Between would be kind of silly.

I have a poem with a line that reads, "Is this the road less travelled, or am I just alone?" So I've used that for a possible title, which I like a lot, actually.

the road less travelled is the title of an already existing book. it's actually a kind of famous psychology book by m. scott peck, so there would probably be legal issues with that.

i like the photo. it has been done a lot, but i think that's because it's a pretty relateable and easy to understand image.

i personally like a simple font.

okay, i'm silly, but i think that it'd be clever to name the next book here and the book after that there.

my two cents!

It somewhat looks like the eye of a dead person, except for the pink. The pink may represent that the eye is gathering any survival resources before suffering tissue death. ??

Nah, I could call the book that if I wanted to. Just like a million bands can release albums called "IV" (or any other number).

I just design what comes to me. For instance, with my book A Scattering of Seeds, I designed a quick cover simply to test out fonts. But then everyone loved the mock cover. I didn't, but I found myself running out of time against a deadline. So that became the cover. Some days I like it, some days I don't. If this cover above ever became the cover, I think I'd feel the same way.

Here's the other cover I'm talking about:

The pink may not have been the best color choice! Hahaha. I least my friend that wrote half the book is a girl! Laughing

do people sometimes name books the same thing like they name websites similarly so they get more hits? i've never really paid attention to book titles because ive never noticed and ive never published so im curious if you think so.
