Well, this is the first time in what, ten years, it's shown up? In fact, it's never shown up for sale there since I've been following Char (and that was the One Girl Army EP days, when it was assumed the album would follow shortly)

Had it not been for the stupid taxes we pay for importing anything over about $20 into the UK, I'd probably have bought it by now.

My hope is that whoever buys it will share it so we're not waiting to hear this for any longer, or that Char makes it available, even as a download, because I'd much rather pay the original artist. *hint hint*

I guess another option is ten of us club in $10, distribute MP3s between us (or wider?) and then just put it back on eBay at $1 no reserve and then split whatever the proceeds are back into the group, meaning we'd probably get an MP3 copy for <$5 a piece. If someone wants to go this way, I'm in for $10 if someone else wants to co-ordinate it.

i definitely cannot afford it, but i hope whoever gets it winds up sharing. can't believe it's actually on there, after all this time. i know we're technically only missing one song (besides the possible different versions of some songs), but it'd be nice to have a good rip of the entire album.

i could do the pitch in effort if more people decide to get involved, but i have a feeling a lot of people are seeking to bid on it for themselves. understandably.

Yeah, it's gone, to v***b - eBay no longer reveals winning bidder names, so that's all we know. Ah well.

Likely because I tweeted to Char about it and she just re-tweeted me, I guess someone bought it then. Hope it surfaces to the community, as Char just replied that RCA still own the masters so it'll never be released.

dang, i should've bid on it just so someone else couldn't do the BIN, until we could've figured out a gameplan ... oh well. Sad

Oh my goodness, whoever won it needs to come forward and sprinkle TAKIN' IT LIKE A MAN on all of us immediately.

Yup, it's the only unique song we're missing. (What I mean by that is that there's a possibility of different versions of the other tracks that had been released later.)

This is true.

Regarding different mixes, I think Something Like A Hero and maybe one other with a different mix have never seen the light of day in high quality. (Between the Rarities CDs and the OGA sampler (not the EP), I think the others have gotten out there.)

I seem to recall there being a 128kbps MP3 of SLAH from OGA LP leaked back in '03/'04, but maybe I'm making that up?

Anyone know how many of these are out there? With it being so rare, has it ever leaked online?

No idea, but to my knowledge, this is the first time in the best part of a decade that one has even come up on eBay.
